Plum Cake With Almond
ICING AND MANGO CHUTNEY CRUNCH
 
 
Ingredients

Butter 250 gms
Brown sugar 200 gms
Flour 300 gms
Egg 5 nos
Atta 40 gms
Baking powder 10 gms
Mixed, soaked fruits 850 gms
Cinnamon powder 3 gms
Cardamom powder 2 gms
Clove powder 3 gms
Ginger powder 5 gms
Nutmeg powder 5 gms
Black jack 20 gms
Ghee, melted 100 gms
Mango chutney 200 gms
Almond nougatine 150 gms
Rum 100 ml
Marzipan 300 gms

Recipe

*Cream butter and sugar. Gradually add eggs, and scrape the sides of the bowls.

*Sieve the fl our, with allspice powders, baking powder.

*Fold in fruits with melted ghee. Mixing with hand, add the black jack and 50 ml rum, pour in a greased mould and bake at 160 degrees for an hour. When cool, brush with leftover 50 ml rum.

*Sandwich the cake with mango chutney and almond praline.

*Cover with marzipan and decorate with decorations.
