Ingredients
Butter 250 gms
Caster sugar 145 gms
Vanilla bean ΒΌ piece
Egg yolk 3 nos
Almond powder 125 gms
Flour 300 gms

Recipe
* Cut the vanilla bean length-wise in half and remove the seeds.
* Mix butter, castor sugar and vanilla seeds together until well combined.
* Add the egg yolk and mix in well.
* Mix flour and almond powder together and add into the butter mixture.
* Mix the ingredients until dough is formed.
* Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place it into the refrigerator for an hour.
* Divide the dough and shape into small crescents.
* Place the cookies onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.
* Bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes until they are golden brown.
* Dust the cookies with icing sugar once they are cooled down. Store cookies in an airtight container.
